Helping Hands is a new community initiative where each local store has been given a budget to distribute to projects and schemes within the stores local community.
The McDonald's Kickstart programme allows groups to apply for one-off grants between £500 to £2,500 for a single project.
The Focus on Funding project has been running for a few years and we need to know how well we are doing. The best people to tell us are those who have used our services and that means you!
Focus on Funding and the East Midlands Funding Forum are holding a funding fair for voluntary and community groups at Mansfield Civic Centre.
About Focus On Funding
Focus on Funding works with community groups across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire by providing;
- Funding advice surgeries
- Training courses and workshops
- Information on funding sources
- Fortnightly email updates on the latest grants and awards available in Nottinghamshire.
Focus on Funding also works with funding advisors, other staff and volunteers who give funding advice as part of their work, by providing;
- A bi-monthly funding advisors network
- Training courses and workshops to support funding advisors
- A mentoring scheme for funding advisors.
Focus on Funding is a Nottinghamshire Infrastructure Consortium (NIC) project. NIC is formed from a group of infrastructure organisations who provide support to front line voluntary and community groups throughout Nottinghamshire.
